All Member Meeting

Don't forget that there is an all member meeting at LMS at 9:00 AM tomorrow (Aug 6th). Please be prompt in arriving. The meeting will be in my new room, 1042 (Mr. Davis's old room). You will be receiving your polo and information regarding the start of school. Also, bring any completed service projects. 8th Grade All Member Meeting

Do not forget about our meeting Wednesday after school. This will be our last meeting of the year, so everyone needs to be in attendance. Reminder - Just because we had our recognition ceremony, does not mean we are done for the year. We still have awards at the 8th grade awards night.

Induction Ceremony

Many of you did not attend this months meeting and did not receive important information about the induction/recognition ceremony. I have copied the agenda for you to read through. Please be aware of upcoming events. Agenda Wednesday, March 20th 1. Attendance - 2. Calendars/Agenda - 3. Absences - - Mrs. Batastini needs to have a note on file if you are absent for any meeting. This goes for sports too. 5. After School Study Tables - Keep up the good work with study tables. I know that attendance is low, but until they are cancelled, we need to keep going. Remember, if you can not show up, you need to find a replacement. If you do not show up and do not notify me or find a replacement, you will be put on probation. There are several people who have not show up to their assigned days. You need to get those made up asap, otherwise you will be given a week extra to work. 6. Family Fun Day - 7. Teacher Appreciation Week We need to form a committee First meeting is Tuesday, March 26th until 3:30 Sign up after our meeting 8. Induction Ceremony Ceremony is April 11th, @7:00 You need to be checked in by 6:15 Wear your polo and khakis or black pants Attendance is mandatory Induction rehearsal is April 10th, until 3:45. Meeting

Study Tables

The person that organizes study tables is looking for some parent volunteers. I told him I would spread the word with our NJHS parents. If you would like to help out, study tables are from 2:50 - 3:45. You would be helping keep students on track while they are working. We provide the tutors, so you wouldn't have to worry about helping the students with work. If you are interested, please email me at abatastini@tricreek.k12.in.us. Also, members that are tutoring, you have been frequently not showing up for your assigned day. Since this is becoming a problem, I will be discussing more serious consequences for irresponsibility at our next meeting.
