Friday's Meeting

If you were unable to attend Friday's meeting, please pick up an agenda from my room. There is some important information on it. Reminders: Don't forget to pick up your candy when it comes in on Wednesday. Our goal is to sell every last chocolate bar!!!!! The members that sell the most the fastest get to go Angel Tree and Toys for Tots shopping. There is an independent service project opportunity with the parks department. Here is all of the information: Candy Cane Hunt - Friday, November 29th from 3:15 to about 5:00 @ Liberty Park. Don't forget to sign up to work study tables. Reminder

Independent Service Project Opportunities

I have two opportunities available. One is after school on Monday until about 5:15. The other is helping with the Halloween Hoopla on the 26th of October. Please see me if you are interested in working.

Concessions

Mrs. Kilmer is in need of concession workers for tonight's volleyball game. If you are interested, please let me know as soon as possible. Also, don't forget that there is a meeting after school today.

If you did not attend, please make sure you come see me for the agenda and to bring a note in for your absence. Also, if you signed up to work the Kiddie Parade. Double check with your parents tonight. Next meeting is September 23rd!

All Member Meeting

Do not forget that there is an all member meeting on Monday. As of right now, we have no competition for the running of President, Vice, and Secretary. If you are interested in running, please let me know by Monday. Also, no one as put in for Treasurer or Historian. Please let me know if you are interested. If no one else decides to run, our meeting will end no later then 3:30. *Remember- All members must be in attendance for meetings. Sports are not an excuse. Talk to your coaches, I'm sure they will understand. We only meet once a month. Most meetings don't last longer then 10-15 minutes. If you are absent for ANY reason, you must have a note on file. All Member Meeting

Don't forget that there is an all member meeting at LMS at 9:00 AM tomorrow (Aug 6th). Please be prompt in arriving. The meeting will be in my new room, 1042 (Mr. Davis's old room). You will be receiving your polo and information regarding the start of school. Also, bring any completed service projects. 8th Grade All Member Meeting

Do not forget about our meeting Wednesday after school. This will be our last meeting of the year, so everyone needs to be in attendance. Reminder - Just because we had our recognition ceremony, does not mean we are done for the year. We still have awards at the 8th grade awards night.

Induction Ceremony

Many of you did not attend this months meeting and did not receive important information about the induction/recognition ceremony. I have copied the agenda for you to read through. Please be aware of upcoming events. Agenda Wednesday, March 20th 1. Attendance - 2. Calendars/Agenda - 3. Absences - - Mrs. Batastini needs to have a note on file if you are absent for any meeting. This goes for sports too. 5. After School Study Tables - Keep up the good work with study tables. I know that attendance is low, but until they are cancelled, we need to keep going. Remember, if you can not show up, you need to find a replacement. If you do not show up and do not notify me or find a replacement, you will be put on probation. There are several people who have not show up to their assigned days. You need to get those made up asap, otherwise you will be given a week extra to work. 6. Family Fun Day - 7. Teacher Appreciation Week We need to form a committee First meeting is Tuesday, March 26th until 3:30 Sign up after our meeting 8. Induction Ceremony Ceremony is April 11th, @7:00 You need to be checked in by 6:15 Wear your polo and khakis or black pants Attendance is mandatory Induction rehearsal is April 10th, until 3:45. Meeting

There is no meeting today. It is next week Wednesday (20th). Sorry for the mix up.

Study Tables

The person that organizes study tables is looking for some parent volunteers. I told him I would spread the word with our NJHS parents. If you would like to help out, study tables are from 2:50 - 3:45. You would be helping keep students on track while they are working. We provide the tutors, so you wouldn't have to worry about helping the students with work. If you are interested, please email me at abatastini@tricreek.k12.in.us. Also, members that are tutoring, you have been frequently not showing up for your assigned day. Since this is becoming a problem, I will be discussing more serious consequences for irresponsibility at our next meeting.

Officer's Meeting

The officer's meeting that is scheduled for after school today is cancelled. We will have a short meeting On the 20th after our all member meeting.

Family Fun Committee

We will have our Celebration next Friday after school. Monday was a little to late to get the word out. Let me know what kind of pizza you want :)

All Member Meeting

The meeting that is scheduled on March 19th is cancelled and rescheduled for March 20th. Spread the word!

Members that are Applying

Don't forget that your essay and all forms are due tomorrow. If you do not have your forms turned in on time, you will be eliminated from the induction process.

Family Fun Night

Members, please remember that tomorrow night's event is mandatory. If you have not spoken to me prior to the event, your attendance will be expected. This is a whole group event and will not be successful unless your are there. Please arrive no later then 4:00. The event will last until 8:00. If you can stay to help clean up, that would be great. Remember that you can wear anything out of the following: your polo or NJHS t-shirt, jeans, shorts, capris, or a tropical themed shirt in place of your polo. Also, THANK YOU to the parents and members that have helped with donating baked goods and auction items. This night could not be successful without you. NJHS New Member Meeting

The New Member callout meeting that is scheduled for tomorrow is rescheduled for Tuesday, Feb 19th.

Don't forget that there is a meeting tomorrow for National Freedom Day and on Thursday, Random Acts of Kindness meets. This is different from the Agenda.
