Krispy Kremes and Meetings

Krispy Kreme pick up as been moved to December 10th. If you have not turned in your donut money, Monday is the last day. I will post pick up procedures when we get closer to the 10th. Decembers all member meeting has been cancelled. Please check the blog for the rescheduled date. There will be an officer's meeting on December 13th until 3:45. Angel Tree shopping is scheduled for December 14th at 7:00pm. We will be meeting at the Target in St. John. I will post the list of top sellers who are eligible to go on Tuesday, December 4th. If you cannot attend, please let me know so I can ask the next eligible person. I will be sending you more detailed information the closer we get to the date. If you have any questions please let me know.

Krispy Kreme Fundraiser

We are good to go for the Krispy Kreme fundraiser. Please see Ms. Grant today or Monday, for your forms. Please carefully read the instructions for selling. Use your Thanksgiving break to sell to your friends and family. Forms and money are due Thursday, November 29th. We are hoping to have the donuts to you for delivery Monday, December 3rd. If you don't turn your money and form in on time, the date will be pushed back. If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Batastini. Don't forget that the top sellers get to go Angel Tree shopping!

Study Tables

Any students that are interested in working study tables, please let me know. Everyone will eventually have to work, but I am offering a deal until Nov. 5th. Anyone who signs up to work between now and Nov. 5th will be allowed to use it as an Independent Service project. I can take two workers per day. Also, there is still a need for helpers the day of parent/teacher conferences. This is also an option for an Independent Service Project.

I still haven't gotten any volunteers to help with parent/teacher conferences. If you are interested in using this as an independent service project, please let me know.

Independent Service Project Opportunity

On October 27th and 28th, team 61/62 needs help with parent/teacher conferences. They need 3 to 4 volunteers each night. You would be needed from 4 to 8. You would be allowed to leave for your own conferences and then come back. Let me know asap if you are interested.

Meeting Date Change

I am changing the date of our meeting to August 13th from 11 AM - 12 PM. It will be at LMS. Our first scheduled date to help is the same day as our meeting. It is from 5-7 for the 6th grade parent/open building night. If you would like to work during this time, please let me know. I will take the first 7 volunteers. New Meeting Date and Other Info

The date of our next meeting is Monday, August 6th at 11 AM, at LMS. This meeting is a mandatory meeting because it involves signing up and receiving information about the events before the first day of school. Also, Mrs. Pavich will be there to talk to all of you. Below is a list of events and times that you will be asked to work. - Monday, August 13th: 5-7 - Thursday, August 16th: 5-7 - Friday, August 17th - 8-12 & 2-5 Please be thinking of a day you could work. Also, do not forget that it is mandatory for you to work at least one day. If you are working the Buckley 5-Miler, please report to the BIG RED BARN no later then 5:45 AM. Remember, the race is this Saturday (July 21st) and wear your polo. If you are interested in helping Mr. Stoner with the videos for school, please email me so I can pass the information forward to him. This is a good opportunity to show how we are leaders in our school. Please don't pass up this opportunity. Also, for our next meeting, please do not forget to think about the following two topics: should the new mentor program be allowed to be use as an individual service project and how do we make the decision of who gets to go Angel Tree shopping. Buckley 5-Miler

If you are interested in volunteering to help with the Buckley 5-Miler, please send me an email at abatastini@tricreek.k12.in.us. When you email, please also send your t-shirt size. All sizes are adult. The race is on July 21st. It will be an early morning. I'll give you more details when I receive them. Don't forget that there is a meeting on July 10th @9 AM, at the high school. The meeting will take place in the little theater.

Candles are Here!

Candles can be picked up during school hours on Monday, May 21. There is an evening pick-up on Tuesday, May 22, from 5:30 - 7:00. If these times will not work for you, please contact me to arrange a pick-up time. I don't suggest members take the candles home with them on the bus. They tend to be heavy and are made of glass. Please double check your order before you leave. We cannot be responsible for the candles once they leave the school. Thank you for your support and all of your hard work!

Reminders

Anyone interested in working a concession date needs to let me know asap! You can use it for an individual service project.

Order forms will be ready next week for polos and t-shirts. Listen to announcements for when to pick them up.

Next meeting is May 8th from 3 - 3:30.

Candle order forms and money are due to me by May 1st! Candles will most likely be delivered the next week. Keep checking for the pick-up date.
